Welcome to the Sci Fi Traveling Road Show. I've finally decided to entice some talent with with money and promotion, so I am offering a small payment for flash fiction. WHAT I WANT Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror Flash pieces (under 1000 words) preferrably read by you in an mp3 audio format. You MUST be a published author, preferably published by small press (POD doesn't count unless you've been published in other venues, sorry). You must still own audio rights (if you don't know what that means or don't know if you do, don't send me anything) and will be willing to grant me non-exclusive universal audio rights to publish your work on the Sci Fi Traveling Road Show. I may ask to purchase your reading for an additional audio anthology. If that's the case, I'll offer some sort of compensation for that. If you meet those above guidelines, send me a quick query with a writing bio. At that point, I'll make a snap decision if I want to see/hear something from you. If yes, be prepared to either send me the mp3 file via YouSendIt.com or cut and paste the entire story in the body of the message. I'd prefer you to read it, so mp3 files are most likely going to be accepted faster than if I have to read them myself. (yes, I'm that lazy!) I may consider other types of audio files, but query first. ANY ATTACHMENTS WILL BE TOSSED. DO NOT SEND WORD OR OTHER FILES WITHOUT OBTAINING PERMISSION FIRST. PAYMENT Once I make a decision, I'll offer you either $5 on publication or if you have a kick-ass promo for a book that's no longer than a minute, I'll run that at least 3 times on the Sci Fi Traveling Road Show. I'll send you a contract (make a copy for yourself) and snail mail it back. The $5 is paypal only. Sorry, I don't do mail. QUESTIONS?
